Taking the Train

According to the Pierce Trips Calendar by taking the Sounder Commuter Train, I recently:
Eliminated 417.2 drive-alone miles.
Prevented the following from being emitted into the environment*:

• 339.09 pounds of carbon dioxide (contributes to global warming)
• 1.25 pounds of hydrocarbons (contributes to smog)
• 11.39 pounds of carbon monoxide (poisonous gas)

And by my own calculations, I saved 27 gallons of gas and approximately $111.00.
Not to mention, I've been walking about a mile a day and decreasing stress that I had f rom driving. :p Good stuff.
