The Assignments: Animal Totems - A new e-course from Sissy Sparrows

The Sissy Sparrows girls have developed a new e-course for Visual Journaling. It is amazing. They've worked hard on both the elements and the content. It is a great way to explore yourself in a non-threatening way... through animals.

Check out this gorgeous opportunity and the first set of pages made by the team.

Jump on the opportunity to get this e-course while it is on sale this weekend. It is a great value, and you'll love exploring!

Hello April

March seemed to have caught me totally off-guard. I started the month off strong, but somehow fizzled along the way. I dropped the proverbial Calvinball and never kept up with my layout posting/points. I did not finish my 30 Days of Lists. Yes, March kicked my ass.

Calvinball | Game On

So I just happened to stumble across a post from Celeste on Facebook. She mentioned Calvinball, so I had to take a peek and find out what that was all about. It turns out that it is a fun scrapping game at Get It Scrapped where you do a lot of smack-talking, a lot of scrapping, mucho point-tallying and a super lot of watching what is going on because the rules are always changing. There is no prize other than self-satisfaction, but who doesn't need a little of that from time to time? Get It Scrapped is a neat community filled with paper scrappers as well as digi girls. They hold monthly online crops and have a lot of classes and other fun things... like Calvinball. Check it out if you dare... and scrap on!

Here are a couple of pages for the Calvinball gallery

How I Would Describe Myself to a Penpal

Today's list left me writing too much, taking some out, putting some back, and generally indecisive. What *would* I tell someone? I guess it depends on who they are. I have some great Aussie friends I've not met in real life, but they know all sorts of gritty details about me and my life. Other people may not know much at all.  Anyway, here's my take on today's list.

I can't believe I actually have two done this time!  Normally I don't get this far.  LOL.

March 1 - Ways to Add Magic to My Life

Well, I signed up for 30 Days of Lists again. I'm bound and determined to actually get some done this time. I figure I will just do it digitally (even though I would love to use real paper) because otherwise it won't get done.

Hope Floats paper - Rosey Posey, Touch of Madness - Studio Tangie & Creative Victorian Designs, Room 19: Project 3 gesso - Sissy Sparrows, Sketched No. 1 Art Dolls - Xquizart

One down, twenty-nine to go.

Crazy January

Last month was a whole lot of crazy. we had so many different things going on. There was little mister's fourth birthday (and party), Superbowl (Seahawks won!!!), our anniversary (9 years married, 12+ together), I went to a great poetry workshop, and the Month of Challenges was happening over at The Lilypad. The idea was that every day they posted a new scrap challenge and you had a chance of winning a daily prize or a guest spot as a Polly. I managed (unbelievably) to get them all finished. And not only did I finish all 31, but I also did their regular challenges (+7) and a few for my other CTs.  It was a scrap-crazy month! They had 150 people finish all 31 challenges, which is pretty cool. February will feel tame in comparison.

October Scrap Pages

I've been scrapping a lot lately.  It can sometimes seem crazy to make so many pages, but at other times, I am excited that I've been able to be creative several days a week.  Over at Pixelscrapper, they had a "layout a day" challenge.  My goal for the month was 31, and I met it, which made me happy because I usually don't reach goals.  Here are the pages I created in October.
