The layout I worked on last week was for Lauren’s topic of Change. I have had a lot of changes in the past couple of years, but the biggest set of changes has been through the journey to complete my education. After putting off college for nearly 20 years (after I had my daughter right after high-school graduation), the journey is coming to a close. Yesterday, I received an email from my thesis advisor. She said that I passed my thesis module and now can schedule the defense of my thesis with the program head, my two readers, and the Dean. So now there is a whole new set of butterflies disrupting me. Renee told me that she didn’t foresee any big problems with the thesis defense. I’m hoping that she is correct. She said that they will always give you changes to make, but it shouldn’t be a big worry. Whew. We’ll see. I’m sure this journey’s end will bring a whole new set of challenges/changes, but I am always one for new things, so I look forward to what is ahead. I’m not a good one for setting goals or tracking my progress toward the goals, but I’m happy that I’ve made it this far.

So school is coming to an end. Finally. After 20+ years. LOL. And there will be new beginnings. And my scrap therapy project is coming to an end, but the blogging class is starting fresh. Winter is coming to an end and spring is going to begin? What else is on the horizon...?

Congratulations! That is quite an accomplishment!
Congratulations! Good luck with the defense! Found you through BFS.
Congrats on finishing your education. I too was a student for far longer than I wanted to be. I've felt free as a bird ever since and now find my learning opportunities in scrapping, software, and photography. Way more fun!
Thanks for commenting on my blog. After looking at a few of your LOs, I see what you mean about preferring fewer pictures. I do too, but mostly because I don't have that many!
